Marine Detailing Services on Long Island

Comprehensive yacht and boat detailing across Long Island's North Shore, South Shore and East End.

Our approach

Long Island's Premier Marine Detailing Service

Long Island's extensive coastline spans over 1,100 miles of shoreline, hosting some of the finest marinas and yacht clubs on the entire East Coast. From the legendary Gold Coast of the North Shore — with its historic estates and prestigious yacht clubs at Port Washington, Oyster Bay and Northport — to the pristine South Shore barrier beaches and the East End's world-class sailing and fishing grounds, Long Island is the heart of New York-area yachting.

We provide mobile marine detailing services throughout Long Island, from the Nassau County marinas of the North Shore to the Suffolk County harbours of the East End. Our fully equipped mobile units bring professional-grade equipment, premium marine products and certified expertise directly to your vessel at your marina, in the boatyard or on your private waterfront property.

Long Island vessels face year-round challenges: harsh winters, intense summer UV, exposure to both Sound and Atlantic conditions depending on location, and the demanding schedule of an active boating season that runs April through November. Our services — from nano-ceramic coatings to anti-fouling bottom paint — are designed to meet these demands efficiently and professionally.

Whether you are a Gold Coast yacht club member seeking consistent white-glove maintenance, a South Shore fishing boat owner who needs practical, durable protection, or an East End cruiser preparing for the season, we tailor every service to your vessel's specific needs and environment.

North Shore vs. South Shore: Different Needs

North Shore — Long Island Sound

Sound conditions produce consistent chop, spray and tidal variation. North Shore vessels tend to accumulate significant salt deposits and experience faster gelcoat oxidation, because the Sound's reflective surface amplifies UV exposure.

Recommended priority services: ceramic coating, regular wash cycles and annual oxidation inspection.

South Shore — Atlantic & Bay

South Shore vessels experience higher salinity, more aggressive biological fouling in warm shallow bays and — for boats going through the inlets — significant Atlantic exposure. Fishing vessels add bait and fish blood contamination requiring specialist cleaning.

Recommended priority services: bottom paint, mildew control and cockpit deep-cleaning.

Further east or west? We also serve the Hamptons, the North Fork and New York City.

Long Island Marine Conditions & Challenges

Long Island's diverse geography creates multiple distinct marine environments, each with different challenges for vessel owners. Our detailing approach is calibrated to your specific location on the island.

North Shore Sound Conditions

Long Island Sound's westerly fetch produces significant spray and chop. North Shore vessels need robust surface protection and regular decontamination to prevent salt buildup on all above-deck surfaces.

Year-Round UV Accumulation

Unlike seasonal Hamptons vessels, many Long Island boats stay in the water year-round or are stored outdoors during winter. Cumulative UV exposure without protection leads to rapid gelcoat oxidation.

Freeze-Thaw Cycles

Long Island winters bring repeated freeze-thaw cycles that stress unprotected gelcoat, unsealed teak and improperly maintained fittings. Proper winterisation is critical to prevent cracking and water intrusion.

Biological Fouling

Long Island Sound's nutrient-rich waters support aggressive barnacle, mussel and algae growth. Annual bottom paint is essential, with mid-season haul-outs sometimes necessary for vessels with heavy fouling.

Long Island Marinas We Serve

We serve marinas and private docks from Nassau County's Gold Coast all the way to the East End. Our mobile units travel across the island, making professional detailing accessible wherever your vessel is berthed.
